This is probably one of my favourite posts so far, I’m so excited to share these photos. If you imagine my excitement at finding and photographing a pink house in London and multiply that by about a thousand, you might have a fair idea of my reaction when confronted with this pink beauty – nestled up in the cliffs of Nice, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. I think, but don’t quote me, that this is the site of the famous rooftop scene in To Catch a Thief. Have you honestly ever seen a prettier villa?

Talk about old Hollywood charm.

We spent such a lush morning here, wandering around the flower gardens and sculptures and playing next to the beautiful fountains which teased us, finishing each display and making us wait for the next.

I spent most of my time taking in the vivid colours, the gorgeous architecture and the genuinely spectacular views, imagining actually living here. Now there’s an ambition!

Is this not the most stunning location? Perfect for outfit photos.

Soon enough we trotted off in search of a beach and some more moules frites. Genuinely the perfect morning.

What are you up to this summer?

Love, M.
